Riggs in 1987, Cathy’s philanthropic vision and insatiable appetite for all things next have guided the firm from an advertising boutique to a marcomm firm known for solving the unsolvable. Her singular style has helped to solve critical business, organizational and social issues for clients of every description, while mentoring next-gen creative talent.

As one who lives to help organizations align success and social good, Teresa has shaped purpose-driven brands at the firm for more than 20 years. She’s known for her ability to help clients artfully leverage organizational health, business strategy and brand marketing to their advantage. As co-founder of CreateAthon, she has led the program’s transition from a single-market event to a global service network that has delivered more than $24 million in pro bono marketing services to the nonprofit marketplace.
Partner / Strategy Director
Kevin brings clarity to business strategy and objectivity to brand development for RP clients. He got his start as an account executive with us in 1994, then landed in Manhattan at Shepardson Stern and Kaminsky, where he worked on brand strategy for accounts such Southern Company and Road Runner. He then went on to J. Walter Thompson and helped to launch Merrill Lynch’s online trading product. In 2004, Kevin returned to his home state and home agency as a partner.
Partner / Managing Director
Tom functions as the central nervous system of Riggs Partners, directing the operations and financial management functions within the firm. He also leads the implementation of digital services for RP clients, shepherding a team of specialists that build impactful digital experiences. Tom joined Riggs Partners in 2000 as production/traffic manager and was named director of operations in 2006. His influence on efficient operational standards and effective agency management earned him a seat as partner in 2008.
Partner / Design Director
Design is an integral part of every RP strategy, and Ryon is its czar. Ryon’s vast knowledge of design, attention to detail, and obsessive love of brand identity design and typography have set the aesthetic standard at Riggs Partners since 1996. His work has earned numerous Gold and Best in Show awards from AIGA and AAF. His work has been recognized in Communication Arts, Print, How, LogoLounge and FPO. Ryon has volunteered his design talents to nonprofits like The March of Dimes, Harvest Hope Food Bank, EdVenture Children’s Museum and Friends of Harbison State Forest.
Partner / Creative Director
Michael’s career began with words, veered toward moving images, and now resists choosing between the two. In addition to shaping the firm’s creative strategy, Michael directs the work of writers, content developers, art directors and other specialists in the execution of seamlessly integrated, multi-platform campaigns. His work has earned numerous Gold and Best in Show honors and has been featured in publications like Luerzer’s Int’l ARCHIVE, Print, HOW, Campaign Brief and BEST ADS ON TV.
Kevin brings a keen eye and an even sharper sensibility for what really moves people to his work at Riggs Partners. He approaches design as a pathway for greater understanding and ease of use among consumers, whether designing a traditional annual report or developing an entirely new online experience. It’s a skill and mentality that Kevin uses to deliver aesthetic integrity and clarity to brands in our care.
Lyn brings a seasoned and well-balanced point of view to shaping holistic media strategies for RP clients. Her craft is dedicated to helping clients achieve the greatest return on investment in what is often a fragmented and tactically driven media landscape, while putting the brand first. Lyn’s background as media director for major retailers such as Belk translates into multi-market expertise for our media-intensive clients.
Eliza’s gift to RP clients is an artful mix of detail, accountability and imagination. She is highly adept at combining the efficiency of project management with the sensibilities it takes to foster meaningful relationships among RP team members and clients. Her skill set contributes to well-organized initiatives for clients across all marketing disciplines, and her background as a healthcare project manager is of particular value to RP clients within the social sector.
Digital Marketing Strategist
Kerry brings a seasoned marketer’s eye to building digital programs for RP clients, one who advocates for transparency, connectedness and two-way conversations that build a brand’s authentic digital presence. While her digital experience is broad, she delivers specific expertise in aligning top-funnel social media and public relations strategies with lead-generation email and CRM programs. She adeptly manages these programs through all phases of strategy, content development and execution while delivering meaningful assessments and optimization.
Writer / Content Strategist
Alison is a master of communications on many fronts, and has proven her multidisciplinary prowess throughout her career. A former account manager at Riggs Partners who went on to excel as both a corporate marketing executive and independent communications consultant, Alison returned to the RP fold as a copywriter and content strategist whose command of nuance and user insights lend themselves to all communications platforms.
Christina brings to both the print and media design process a balance of technical expertise and creative problem solving. She has a passion for brand consistency and creating cohesive messaging across all media channels, particularly in digital advertising programs for RP clients. Here, she brings an artful and disciplined eye to her design and animation work, where her design concepts and implementation deliver a captivating user experience.
Linda has made a career of building and executing high-performance media programs for B2B and B2C clients throughout the country. If there’s a number to crunch, she has command of it. If there’s a path to leverage a more efficient buy, she’s on it. With more than 35 years in the business, she brings a high standard to discerning the effectiveness of media programs and in carrying out the all-important details of media management.
Erin’s background in economic development marketing engenders a distinctive and highly valuable perspective in her work as an Account Manager. She has worked alongside South Carolina’s top government agency officials in helping to facilitate positive communications and event experiences for domestic and international business prospects. Her prior marketing agency experience includes serving as an account representative for several Fortune 500 global manufacturers with sizable operations throughout South Carolina.
Katy is an accomplished strategist who excels in leading comprehensive marketing and communications programs. She joined Riggs Partners in 2001, where she has brought measured and immediate value to clients across a broad spectrum of sectors, including financial services, utilities, professional services and community benefit organizations. With a Master of Arts in Government from Johns Hopkins and positions on Capitol Hill, she brings valued public relations and governmental affairs counsel to RP clients.
As project manager and resident mom in charge, Yanti ensures deadlines are met, schedules are managed, and logistics are never questioned. She puts her project management skills to work for a wide variety of RP clients, lending strategic support services and event management expertise to teams throughout the building.
Digital Marketing Strategist
Courtney specializes in connecting a client’s brand marketing objectives with digital tools that drive traffic and meaningful online interactions. She makes small work of big data and uses it to inform all manner of digital advertising programs. A renaissance marketer if there ever was one, she is gifted as both an account producer and content developer.
Jessica’s effectiveness as an Account Manager is rooted in her ability to direct collaborative efforts that place the client’s business objectives and RP team deliverables in direct alignment with each other. She has an extensive marcomm background in the healthcare, insurance and nonprofit sectors that brings a seasoned point of view to organizations committed to advancing the quality of life in the communities they serve. Her professional dedication to doing work that matters extends well into her personal community service.
Parker brings an aptitude for consumer research and planning to his role as account coordinator. He works with account directors and managers as a research facilitator and is highly adept at identifying critical audience insights as part of brand strategy development. He puts his project management skills to work for a variety of RP clients, and the right side of his brain gets an equal workout, given his proficiency in video production.
Writer / Content Strategist
An ad industry veteran with a quick wit and quicker pen, Julie provides content strategy and copywriting services across the entire marketing continuum. Whether composing the perfect tweet or wordsmithing a website, she has a flair for translating complex ideas into words that build brand loyalty and move people to act. It’s a gift she uses to help brands push past marketing clutter and messaging mediocrity.
Priscilla brings a wealth of marcomm experience for public health and community organizations to her role as Account Manager, with specific expertise in managing community stakeholder groups. To this end, she has directed board and community relations for leading organizations seeking to meet critical health needs in the Midlands. Her management expertise extends to fundraising and event management as well, having led record-breaking development initiatives for healthcare and nonprofit organizations.
RP Apprenticeships are designed for recent college graduates seeking an intensive, real-world experience in the areas of design, writing, account management and strategic development. Our ideal candidate is talented, hardworking, ready and willing to provide meaningful assistance to his or her assigned mentor.
An apprenticeship is a part-time, paid position. Each apprentice term is three months and may be renewed by mutual agreement between the mentor and apprentice. The maximum apprenticeship term is 12 months.
While each apprentice will be exposed to the full continuum of Riggs Partners' services, positions are only available per discipline, per mentor.
